About 400 Ukrainian businesses came together at the 26th Annual General Meeting of the European Business Association to sum up the difficult but important year of 2025. ETL Group was also present at this event and we want to share our own impressions.
This year's meeting became a platform for talking about how the business landscape of Ukraine is changing during the war: from new challenges and achievements to the transformation of corporate culture and the key role of business in rebuilding the country. The focus of the discussions was on people: teams, veterans, youth, industry leaders. This was emphasized by both the Executive Director of the Association Anna Derevyanko and the speakers of the panel discussions. We fully support this approach: the future is built by people.
We heard many strong case studies of how companies are restructuring processes, changing management structures, expanding social programs, and how this helps not only to survive, but also to grow. Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka discussed the topic of new market rules and integration into the European space, and this is the reality in which Ukrainian business must be able to work today.
Inclusion, support for veterans, and mental health became an important topic. What previously seemed "optional" has today become a business necessity. Ukrainian business is rethinking its role, forming a new culture of responsibility, in which sustainability, partnership, and real actions carry more weight than any statements.
And the performance of Ukrainian composer Yevhen Khmara was a moment of silence and admiration, when music spoke about values and meanings louder than any words.
